How is settlement managed?

While we don't handle settlement execution directly, we integrate with your existing systems and provide client-facing settlement obligation reports and real-time status updates.

Is my crypto secure with Cypator ECN?

Yes. Cypator is a non-custodial, execution-only trading platform. Settlement is handled by independent third-party prime brokers and custodians, ensuring clear separation of responsibilities and eliminating conflicts of interest. To further protect users, Cypator regularly undergoes penetration testing to maintain the highest security standards.

What makes Cypator ECN different from other crypto trading platforms?

For Makers, we offer direct distribution of last-look streaming quotes to a broad network of Takers. Once you complete a simple onboarding and establish the initial connection, any new Taker joining the ECN automatically becomes your client—no extra setup needed.

For Takers, we provide Liquidity-as-a-Service with tight spreads as soon as you log in or connect via API. New Makers joining the network immediately add to your available liquidity, which we continuously monitor to ensure high-quality trades and a strong fill rate.

Can I use my own liquidity providers?

Yes. We’ll integrate with any liquidity provider you choose. Typical integration takes approximately 3 weeks from start to production.

Is there a dependency between the ECN and OTC desk solutions?

No. The OTC desk can benefit from ECN liquidity via built-in integration, but it’s entirely optional.

Similarly, our ECN solution can integrate with any third-party OTC desk platform.

How does the Cypator ECN work?

Our network of Makers provides quote-based streaming liquidity that is aggregated and presented to Takers. When a Taker places an order, our Smart Order Router splits and routes it to one or more Makers. Each Maker then decides whether to accept the order and execute the trade. Once the trade is completed in real time, trade details are sent to the prime brokers and custodians for settlement and record-keeping.
